Scott Alan (Music & Lyrics) wrote the book, music and lyrics for the musical Detour which ran for an extended, sold out, 10 week run at the Complex Theater in Los Angeles, California. Many of Broadway's elite have sung his music, including Stephanie J. Block, Emily Skinner, Alison Fraser, Liz Callaway, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Porter, Shoshana Bean, Kerry Butler, Rachel York, Julia Murney, among others. Starting as a solo performer signed to a label deal, he moved on and quickly found his home working as an assistant Musical Director in Los Angeles alongside some of the best, including Ricky Minor and Diane Louie. His love for theater brought him back to New York where he is working on two new musical projects, including Piece, with book writer Tara Smith, and The Warmth of the Womb, in which Alan is writing the book, music and lyrics. As a producer, Alan conceived the popular monthly Monday Nights, New Voices series at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre, which features some of today's biggest Broadway stars and composer/lyricists honoring upcoming theatre talent, including emerging writers. On June 12th, 2006, Alan served as head artistic producer and director, in conjunction with The York Theatre, on the Neo2 Benefit for The York Theatre. Alan's song 'Never Neverland,' from his musical Piece, was featured, with Stephanie J. Block on vocals. www.scottalan.net

Tara Smith (Book/Producer) is a New York transplant via Los Angeles, where she received a B.A in both Theatre and Communications from The University of Southern California. Although she began her career as an actress, most recently Tara has worked as a coordinator for Mark Burnett Productions on both The Casino and The Apprentice. Aside from Piece, Tara is also currently writing a book, “What I Know Now”, an untitled mocumentary, and also serves as the head of development for the newly formed Go Pictures.

Barbara Anselmni (Musical Director) New York credits include The Audience (Transport Group); Gay Divorcee, My Favorite Year, Roar of the Greasepaint..., 50 Million Frenchmen, Stop! Look! Listen! (Musicals Tonight!); Das Barbecu, The Odd Potato (Northeast Queen Jewish Community Council), B.O.T.C.H (premiere). Regionally she has worked at TheatreWorks (Palo Alto), Capital Repertory, Barter Theater, Merrimack Rep, Gateway Playhouse and Theatre-by-the-Sea. Barbara has also served as arranger and music director for many readings, workshops and benefits in New York and can be heard on several recordings for Bill Solly and various other artists. She worked on tick, tick.. Boom! (Jane Street Theatre) and also served as music director and arranger for a concert tour with Jodi Stevens. Barbara is the composer of The Orphan Train (book and lyrics by Susan Nanus) and a member of The Dramatist Guild and the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop where she is currently developing two projects, The Wedding Project and Leonardo's Dream.

Paul Downs Colaizzo (Production Assistant/Logo Design) is currently a senior at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts studying Drama at the Playwrights Horizons Studio, the Experimental Theater Wing, and The International Theater Workshop in Amsterdam. Design credits include complete design for the NYC Fringe show Laughing All the Way from the Sperm Bank as well as the sound design for FringeNYC's The Spickner Spin (appeared as Rabinowitz), as well as many projects at NYU.
